During her time there Shelby was a member of the Thomas More Women’s Basketball Team for four years and worked many youth camps to help young players develop their basketball skills. When Shelby had off time from classes and basketball she devoted her time to summer nannying and evening babysitting. While attending high school at Batesville High School in Batesville, Indiana she worked many babysitting jobs, taught swimming lessons, and worked in a local daycare. She has a huge passion for helping children as well as helping families fulfill their childcare needs. After graduating from college she worked in a public school setting where she assisted children with learning disabilities.
